This noble mansion, built in the mid-19th century, is located on the terrace of a sloped corner plot at the intersection of Sadovaya and Verkhne-Pokrovskaya streets (now Kalinina Street). This house was home to the forester of Penza.

The southern part of the estate was occupied by an orchard, while a stone house stood along the northern boundary. To the west of it were a stone fence with gates and a wicket leading to a spacious yard with service buildings. Through this yard, one could access the garden. The main house, the fence, and the reconstructed former carriage house have survived to this day.

The brick, two-story mansion was built in accordance with the street's building line. In the 1880s, two wings were added that opened into the courtyard, and the interior was altered. The first floor was used for utility purposes, while the well-lit second floor featured a suite of rooms along the main facade.

During the Soviet era, until 1977, it housed a boarding school for the deaf, and later a station for young technicians. Currently, the building is home to a Center for the Development of Children and Youth.
