The mansion of merchant A.S. Chertukhin was built in the early 20th century, although some sources claim it was constructed in 1860. The house is made of brick, and its roof is wooden with spires, where the iron has completely rusted. The balcony overlooking the courtyard is also in a deplorable state. In the early 2000s, one of the owners replaced several windows with plastic ones.

In July 2020, the roof was blown off one of the mezzanine balconies by the wind, causing water to start seeping into the building. The building has been passed on to several owners, of whom only two remain, as the other two have passed away. One of them was well over 90 years old in 2021. As of 2020-2021, the building is not in use, and no one resides in it.
