Aladjalov Mansion in Rostov-on-Don

Фото 1
One of the regional cultural heritage sites in Rostov-on-Don is the pre-revolutionary Aladjalov mansion, built in 1911 by the renowned Rostov architect Arutyun Khristoforovich Zakiev.

The first owner of this building was Iosif Tseronovich Aladjalov, a representative of a well-known family in Nakhichevan-on-Don. Among his relatives were merchants, public figures, and even artists. The family owned numerous houses and plots of land. Iosif Tseronovich himself managed the trading house "S. Gench-Ogluiev and I. Shaposhnikov" and possibly engaged in public activities, although this is difficult to confirm today. It is known that he was an educated and successful person.

The Aladjalov mansion has survived to this day and is included in the list of regional cultural heritage sites, serving as an interesting architectural monument of the pre-revolutionary period.
