On March 8, 1987, the Museum of Peasant Life was opened at the library, marking a significant cultural event for the village and the entire district. In 1991, the building of the former kindergarten was transferred to the district culture department by the decision of the Rodina collective farm board, and the Museum of Peasant Life was established there. In 1993, for its interesting and diverse activities, the museum was awarded the title of 'Folk'.

The founders of the museum were the spouses Kuteppov, Nikolai Tikhonovich and Lyubov Ivanovna. The museum is visited by people of all ages. Its collection includes 780 exhibits. The tour begins with a section dedicated to the nature of the native land, showcasing samples of tree species.

The second section displays hand tools from the 16th and 20th centuries. Among the most interesting exhibits are a weaving loom, the exhibition 'The Hardship of Peasant Bread', and a wooden hand mill. A scene has been recreated with a burning campfire, where an ancient cauldron is suspended, cooking porridge and kvass.

The third section is dedicated to household items. Here, one can see beautifully crafted rushnyks, towels, and tablecloths made at home on a homemade loom.

The museum also has a military section, featuring models of weapons, medals, and orders from the Great Patriotic War, as well as a portrait of a fellow villager, Hero of the Soviet Union, Ilya Petrovich Firsov. A large number of front-line letters are preserved. The art gallery displays works by local artists from the village and district.

The museum has become a custodian and promoter of cultural traditions, as well as a venue for interesting and engaging events. One visitor noted: 'Your museum is a preserved corner of antiquity.'
