The museum is visited by more than six thousand people annually, many of whom return multiple times. Adults and children are particularly attracted to the exhibition of the museum's largest section, "The Labor and Life of Siberian Peasants," where one can see a collection of antique items: spinning wheels, samovars, irons, and agricultural tools. The museum's permanent exhibition is dedicated to the Great Patriotic War and tells the stories of the feats of Lower Ingash residents, Heroes of the Soviet Union, and other veterans called to the front by the Lower Ingash Military Commissariat. A special pride of the museum is the corner dedicated to our fellow countryman, writer Nikolai Stanislavovich Ustinovich. Here, authentic items belonging to the writer are displayed, such as a typewriter, photographs, books, and a hat, which invariably attract the attention of visitors.

Every month, the district museum holds the "Donors to the Museum" event, and work with the collections is ongoing, including scientific inventory, accounting, and verification of museum items, restoration of acceptance records in the inventory book, and completion of acceptance records for exhibits. In 2015, the museum's collection was increased by 26 items, reaching a total of 1,274 storage units.
