The monastery operated from 1904 to 1920 until it was destroyed by the Bolsheviks. Its construction was organized by and later became the abbess, Elizabeth, the daughter of the last owner of the village of Podlesovo, landowner A. Rozing. Today, only a well and the ruined foundations made of red bricks, which were produced in Podlesovo, remain from the monastery.
