The chapel in honor of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, known as La chapelle orthodoxe russe Saint-Nicolas, is located in Nice at the Russian Cemetery of Cocad. Built in 1867, it originally belonged to the Orthodox Russian Church. In 1923, the chapel was leased for 99 years to the Russian Orthodox Cultural Association, which has been under the jurisdiction of the Western European Exarchate of Russian Parishes of the Constantinople Patriarchate since 1931.

The chapel, designed in the neoclassical style, occupies a central place on the main avenue of the Cocad cemetery. It was built with funds from Anna Mikhailovna Tolstaya (née Hilkova, first married name Shcherbatova) in memory of her husband, A. N. Tolstoy, who died in Nice. In 1923, the building was expanded with the addition of an altar, allowing for memorial services to be held inside the chapel.

Behind the chapel is the Ossuary, where bones from graves with expired concessions were stored from 1926 to 1946. The Nicholas Chapel-Monument is one of the attractions of Nice.

The first stone of the chapel was laid in March 1867 on the grounds of the Bermon villa. It was erected in honor of the Russian Prince Nicholas Alexandrovich, the son of Alexander II. The nearby street is also named after him, Boulevard Tsarevich.

The chapel is built in the Byzantine style, with marble as the primary building material. The project of the chapel was developed by architect D. I. Grimm, construction work was carried out by Francesco Botta, and the wall paintings were created by A. K. Fisher. The bronze doors of the chapel were made in Lyon at the workshop of Nicolas Rozier. A total of 140,000 francs was spent on construction, half of which was allocated by Alexander II.
