From 1864 to 1914, 12 cells-huts, a stone church in honor of the icon of the Entry into the Temple of the Mother of God, and a bell tower with copper bells were built at the skete. The bell tower connected the two-story church with the baptistery. The skete was surrounded by a stone wall five meters high. Along the wall were arch-niches with icon-paintings and parables dedicated to the life and deeds of Saint Seraphim of Sarov. The skete housed 48-50 residents, including novices, nuns, and elders.

In 1927, the monastic community was dissolved. The territory of the former monastery housed a children's home, a school for peasant youth, a weaving cooperative, and a home for the disabled. According to an excerpt from the decree of the Presidium of the Arzamas Executive Committee dated August 12, 1927, on the closure and liquidation of the property of the Diveevo and Ponetaevsky monasteries, all 12 cells were transferred to the poorest population for the organization of huts.

Today, only the baptistery, which houses an open church, and several cells remain from the Tsar's skete.
