In the village of Zinakovo, the chapel was built at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. It belonged to the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Tormanova and was part of the Tormanova parish. The distance from the chapel to the church is about 7 km.

The village of Zinakovo ceased to exist in 1983. The chapel was located in the center of the village, which suffered two fires, but the fire miraculously did not affect the chapel. Now it stands in complete solitude.

The dedication of the chapel is unknown, but local residents remember that the patronal feast here was Peter's Day.

The wooden chapel is built from logs in a lap joint and is executed in the style of "Ropetov" architecture. It is a square structure with a low tent roof and small barrels at the center of the facades. The log structure lies on the ground, is empty, and the domes are destroyed. The main structure measures approximately 5.5 by 6 meters, the height of the square is about 2.6 meters, and the total height of the chapel without the domes and cross is about 4.7 meters. The interior walls are treated and covered with horizontal boards.

The chapel is covered with iron. There is one window on the northern and southern sides, a door on the western side, and the iconostasis was located on the eastern side. The windows are adorned with simple trim. The roof on the northern and western sides leaks, leading to the deterioration of the walls. The condition of the log structure is generally good. The external walls of the chapel are decorated with decorative carved cornices, which have been preserved by 70% and can be restored.
