The chapel was built in the late 19th, early 20th century. It is made of red ceramic bricks on a white stone foundation. In the early 20th century, the area around the chapel was tiled with ceramic tiles, fragments of which can still be found in the surrounding area. The lost upper part of the chapel was replaced with a new one in the early 1990s.
