The village of Vishenki is located 44 versts from Vladimir and 8 versts from Suzdal, near a pond. In the 19th century, it belonged to the princes Prozorov. In 1835, a church was built in the village in honor of Saint George the Great Martyr, initiated by the landowner Princess Tatyana Mikhailovna Prozorova. This stone building has a bell tower and contains one altar dedicated to Saint George.
