The chapel is located on an elevated part of the floodplain, where the Koloksha and Klyazma rivers merge. Usually, these are calm fields, but during strong spring floods, they can turn into a smooth expanse of a flooded sea, and then the chapel becomes a beacon, pointing to the saving land. This may explain its unique architectural feature, which is not found anywhere else in the Vladimir region. The chapel is shaped like an equilateral triangle, and from whichever side it is viewed, any angle appears sharper than 60 degrees, contrary to the laws of geometry. One of the sharp angles faces east, towards the floodplain, while the opposite flat side is turned towards the road and the village of Ugor.

Currently, the chapel is hidden by lilac bushes and is almost unnoticed, being on private property. I noticed it a few years ago. During this time, several new houses and cottages have appeared in the village of Ugor, the village has changed, but the chapel remains unnoticed and does not require special maintenance. On one of the wooden shields, a face has been preserved, as well as two wrought iron brackets from lamps that once burned over a hundred years ago. It is likely that the chapel was built in honor of an important event. Whether it is hollow or not remains a subject for separate research.
