Unknown Chapel in Old Nekouz

Фото 1
The Church of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity in the village of Old Nekouz was built in 1790 and had three altars. This temple impresses with its size and majestic beauty. The four-tiered bell tower, despite the loss of its cross, can be seen from several kilometers away. The enormous two-light square had a high basement divided into sections. The church was surrounded by a fence with gates and corner chapels, of which only the ruins of one remain. In the past, the village square was adorned with a brick chapel with a tent roof, of which only the walls now remain. Even with such significant losses, the architectural complex makes a strong impression and serves as the compositional center of the village.
