On September 12, 2019, a cross for the dome of the chapel was delivered to Morshansk, made in Tambov according to the design of Victory Park. On this day, the archpriest of the Morshansk district, priest Edesiy Chernyshev, conducted the consecration of the cross. Those present had a unique opportunity to touch the cross before its installation on the dome of the chapel. Although the appearance of the park is not yet complete, new alleys are already planned, and pylons have been installed, which will later be covered with a special decorative material engraved with the names of Morshansk residents who died during the Great Patriotic War.
