In 2009, Orthodox residents of the village of Malaya Yelnya in the Kstovo district of Nizhny Novgorod region decided to build a chapel-stela. During the laying of the foundation, Father Alexey performed a ceremony to bless the site. On the chosen territory, a four-sided chapel was erected with vertical niches on each side. These niches, over 3 meters high and 1.5 meters wide, transition into semi-domes topped with a cross.

Four ceramic icons were made for the chapel: Lord Almighty, Holy Virgin of Tenderness, Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, and Venerable Seraphim of Sarov, as well as four Six-Winged Seraphim. In 2010, the icons were installed, along with ceramic kiots on the four sides of the chapel, and heavenly angels of the Six-Winged Seraphim were placed in the semi-domes.

On August 2, 2010, the ceremony for the blessing of the icon of Lord Almighty took place. On August 2, 2011, the image of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker was consecrated. On August 3, 2012, the ceremony for the blessing of the icon of Venerable Seraphim of Sarov was held. On August 3, 2013, the Dean of the Kstovo district, Father Alexey, consecrated the icon of the Holy Virgin of Tenderness.
