In the village of Lazarevo, located in the suburbs of Murom in the Murom district of the Vladimir region, lived Saint Juliana of Lazarevo in the 16th century, whose life became an example of piety for the Orthodox world. In this village and the neighboring village of Zhemchuzhino, there are four natural springs, some named after Juliana and Georgy Lazarevsky. One of the springs appeared after the Great Flood, and silver ions were found in its water. The life of Juliana and Georgy is surrounded by many legends. According to one of them, in 1584, during a hunt, a servant drowned their son, Ivan Osoryin, and at the place where the mother shed tears, a spring emerged. It is believed that the water from this spring has a strong but ambiguous effect, and it should be handled with care. A sick person who drank this water either recovered in three days or peacefully passed away.

The bathing area by the spring is made of wood and is regularly updated. Believers, led by priests, sometimes make a pilgrimage to the shrine.
