The museum introduces visitors to the life and work of the Hero of the Soviet Union, Lenin Prize laureate, Tatar poet Musa Jalil. It is located on the grounds of the memorial complex named in his honor, in the village of Mustafino, Sharlyk District, Orenburg Region. The museum was founded in 1976. In 2013, the memorial complex named after M. Jalil and a new museum exhibition consisting of three halls were opened. Every year, thousands of tourists from the Orenburg region, Tatarstan, Bashkiria, other regions of Russia, and neighboring countries visit the museum. The museum is popular and holds significant importance for visitors.
