Every year, twice, processions would depart from the monastery to two holy wells, which, according to legend, were dug by Elder Zosima. In the early 20th century, a stone chapel was built over one of these wells, which became an adornment of the monastery. The octagonal brick chapel with a tent roof was located to the west of the monastery but was destroyed in the mid-20th century.
