Rabbit Museum in Kovrov

Фото 1
The family reading library project known as the Rabbit Museum is popular among both adults and children. The museum houses over 1000 exhibits, including toys, badges, and postcards. Special attention is drawn to the works of masters from Kovrov, Russia, and other countries. The exhibits are not just displayed on shelves; children play with them, and library staff organize interesting performances, such as a puppet tale about the rabbit Kasyka.

The rabbit can be considered one of the most famous literary characters. The museum's collection includes about 200 books, many of which are unusual, such as those made in the shape of a fabric pillow.

The Rabbit Museum has become an excellent place for conducting local history classes. At these meetings, the history of Kovrov, its coat of arms, and the nature of the Vladimir region are discussed. Children learn about the history of their region in a playful manner and discover fascinating 'rabbit' legends and fairy tales from different countries.
