The museum of Vyacheslav Mikhailovich Klykov, opened on June 2, 2008, is located in the sculptor's homeland in the village of Lenina (Marmyzhi station) of the Soviet district in the Kursk region. Its exhibition features personal belongings donated by the sculptor's family, models of monuments, and photographic documents.

The museum's goal is to perpetuate the memory of the outstanding sculptor and public figure, as well as to engage viewers with the great past of national culture and patriotic ideas. The museum aims to awaken the creative abilities of youth and become a place for aesthetic and spiritual communication for visitors and residents of the village.

Vyacheslav Klykov was one of the most significant artists in Russia in the last quarter of the 20th century. His personality was characterized by versatility and integrity. He adhered to clear and firm principles in both life and creativity. A laureate of numerous artistic awards and honors, Klykov combined his service to art with public activities, which only expanded over time. He was the initiator and participant of the Congress of Slavic Cultures, the All-Russian Sobor Movement, the Council of Slavic Peoples of Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, the Russian Zemstvo Movement, and the Union of the Russian People. For many years, he headed the International Fund for Slavic Writing and Culture, which initiated many significant endeavors in the spiritual and cultural life of Russia at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries.
