V. I. Vernadsky Museum-Estate in Pod'yom

The creation of the Scientific Cultural and Educational Noosphere Center named after V. I. Vernadsky was an attempt to realize the dream of the Vernadsky family, to change the socio-cultural and economic situation in the region, and to make people's lives healthier and more meaningful. This initiative received high praise from the Ecology Committee of the State Duma of the Russian Federation. The project "Noosphere Center in Vernadovka" was awarded the title of laureate of the "National Ecological Prize" competition in 2005 in the nomination "Eco-efficiency," in the category of "eco-efficient investments." The prize was established by the Non-Governmental Environmental Fund named after V. I. Vernadsky and the Ecology Committee of the State Duma of the Russian Federation with the support of the Guild of Environmental Journalism of the Media Union.

On September 19, 2003, the first stone for the construction of a new building on the territory of the Vernadsky estate was ceremoniously laid. The center was established in accordance with the decree of the Tambov region administration dated July 12, 2005, and the order dated July 16, 2005, of the Tambov Regional State Educational Institution of Additional Education "Bionika."

On September 23, 2005, the grand opening of the Scientific Cultural and Educational Noosphere Center named after V. I. Vernadsky took place. The center is located in a building with a lobby and five rooms. Two rooms house the V. I. Vernadsky Museum, two others are scientific information offices, and the fifth room contains a conference hall for 40 people.

On May 5, 2011, another significant event took place on the territory of the Vernadsky estate, the first monument to V. I. Vernadsky was unveiled.
