The house, belonging to the muezzin of the Galeev Mosque, Mukhammadbedig Husainov, was built in the second half of the 19th century. The educator Kayum Nasiri, a relative of Husainov, lived in this house, renting two rooms, starting from 1871, according to other sources, from 1887, until his death in 1902. The house was restored on its historical site from 1991 to 1995. Since 2002, it has been home to the Kayum Nasiri Museum, which is a branch of the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan. The study and workshop of the scholar have been recreated in the house.

The building was constructed according to one of the standard designs of the first half of the 19th century. It was a two-story wooden house of rectangular shape, with a narrow end featuring four windows facing the street, in accordance with Tatar traditions. There was a mezzanine floor on the courtyard side. It is assumed that the lower floor was used for household needs, while the upper floor was residential. The facade is clad in planks, and the rectangular windows are adorned with simple frames with shelves on consoles. The corners of the building are decorated with pilasters supporting the frieze. The gabled roof forms a triangular pediment with a traditional three-part window. The entrance to the house was from the courtyard, and the historical gates have also been restored.
