The "Museum of the Russian Samovar" hosts a unique exhibition dedicated to items of Russian antiquity. It features around 1,000 exhibits from the private collection of Nikolai Fedorovich Polyakov, an honorary citizen of the Gorodets and Nizhny Novgorod regions, making the exhibition one of the largest in the world. Among the exhibits are more than four hundred samovars.
The museum opened on September 8, 2007. The "Museum of the Russian Samovar" allows visitors to reevaluate the beauty of this once everyday and essential item, as well as to feel the joy of connecting with the roots of Russian culture, symbolizing family comfort and friendly communication.
