The Museum of Estates of Russia, a new exhibition of Ilya Glazunov's Art Gallery, was opened on June 12, 2017. Along with his paintings and graphics, I.S. Glazunov gifted Moscow his personal collection of artworks, totaling over 5000 items, collected throughout his life.

Ilya Sergeyevich Glazunov was the author of the idea, architectural project, interiors, and exhibition of the museum, aiming to reflect the beauty of life and culture in estate Russia.

On the first floor of the museum, the culture of noble Russia from the 18th to the early 20th centuries is presented. Here, the atmosphere of noble life is recreated in classic interiors of estates, decorated with antique furniture, paintings, artistic bronze, engravings, and examples of European fashion of that time. The second floor, inspired by the decor of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich's chambers, is dedicated to the art of Orthodox Russia. Here, one can see icons, wooden church sculptures, cast copper crosses, and triptychs. On the third floor, in the interiors of a peasant hut, the crafts, customs, and everyday life of peasant Russia are reflected. Here are painted sleds and bows, chests, caskets, samovars, spinning wheels, and folk costumes from more than 20 provinces.

On July 9, 2019, on the Day of Remembrance of the great Russian artist, a marble memorial plaque with a relief portrait of Ilya Sergeyevich Glazunov and a memorial study was opened in the exhibition of the Museum of Estates of Russia. The interior of the study was created under the guidance of the gallery director, the artist's widow, Inessa Dmitrievna Orlova-Glazunova. The study features family photographs, books, albums with original sketches and notes from the personal archive, as well as furniture and works by Russian and European artists from Ilya Sergeyevich's workshop.
