The idea of creating a museum complex dedicated to the work of Alexander Rou has long been in the minds and hearts of concerned individuals, representatives of the creative intelligentsia, local historians, and patriots of Yuryevets. Currently, the administration of the Yuryevets municipal district has provided a building for this purpose, an architectural monument, a mansion built in 1909, which belonged to the family of local architect M. N. Cherkassky. This mansion still attracts the attention of passersby with its uniqueness and distinctiveness.

The museum organizers believe that utilizing the creative legacy of A. Rou will help revive Yuryevets, which is going through difficult times.

The museum features the following exhibitions:

Room No. 1. Photo exhibition in memory of A. Rou.

Here you can see a panorama of sunken places, streets, and islands, models of lost buildings, photo materials about the life and work of A. Rou, as well as a screen for viewing additional information about his life and creativity. Toy characters from A. Rou's fairy tales and films are also on display.

Room No. 2. "Tea Room."

A living room with a large round table and a sideboard with cups, as well as a piano, sofa, armchairs, and other items for organizing meetings over a cup of tea in the style of "Visiting a Fairy Tale."

Room No. 3. "AzBukiVedi."

This space is intended for educational and creative activities with children. It is equipped with equipment, a computer, a screen, furniture for classes, and a puppet theater.

Room No. 4. "Fairy Tale Café."

A kitchen with a Russian stove, where you can warm up, eat, drink tea, and enjoy ice cream.

The veranda is used in the summer for socializing, tea drinking, and relaxing with a book.
