The memorial house-museum of Marc Chagall is located at 11 Pokrovskaya Street. This building was constructed in the early 1900s by the artist's father. It is here that Marc Chagall spent his youth, which he later described in his autobiographical book "My Life." The house-museum opened in 1997 and showcases household items from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, as well as copies of archival documents and works by Chagall that tell about his life and the life of his family in Vitebsk.

The Marc Chagall Art Center is located at 2 Putna Street and was founded in 1992. This center hosts exhibitions of the artist's graphic works, including lithographs, woodcuts, etchings, and aquatints. The collection of the art center includes a series of illustrations for Nikolai Gogol's poem "Dead Souls" (1923, 1925), series of colored lithographs on the theme of "The Bible" (1956 and 1960), a cycle of colored lithographs "12 Tribes of Israel" (1960), and other works by Chagall.
