The Rerikh Museum, a branch of the State Museum of the East, is located in the historic estate of the Lopukhins, dating back to the 17th and 19th centuries. It was established in February 2016 by the decision of the board of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation to fulfill the will of S. N. Rerikh.

The museum showcases the artistic heritage of the famous artist N. K. Rerikh and his son S. N. Rerikh. The collection includes over 800 works reflecting various periods of their creativity. The museum also houses a collection of decorative and applied arts that the Rerikh family gathered during their life in the Kulu Valley in northern India, in the state of Himachal Pradesh.

The museum regularly conducts tours of the Lopukhins' estate, recognized as an architectural monument. Lectures on art history and Rerikh studies are organized, and cooperation with various public organizations related to the Rerikh movement is being established.
