The Craft Museum is located in a building that belonged to the Makaryov merchants in the 19th century. The main task of the museum is to introduce visitors to the traditional crafts for which Kolomna is famous. Here, not only are the crafts discussed, but guests are also invited to try their hand at being craftsmen. The museum grounds feature a beautiful garden, an active forge, and an exhibition hall with the display "People. Fashion. Time." The workshop's uniqueness lies in the interactive master classes, where children can happily hammer on the anvil and mold a Kolomna pot or a small toy from clay. Adults can also participate by creating a protective doll from fabric, forging a poker or horseshoe, or engaging in making a phyto-collage and decoupage of candles.
