The Museum of Perm Antiquities, opened in 2011, is dedicated to paleontology and geology. Its exhibition features over two thousand exhibits. Each year, the museum attracts more than 70,000 visitors.

The exhibits illustrate the history of life on Earth over the last 650 million years. Here, you can find fossils of ancient plants and insects, remains of marine creatures, as well as skeletons of Permian reptiles, dinosaurs, and mammals. A special highlight is the skeleton of a mammoth, discovered in the Perm region in 1927. This exhibit has become a symbol of the museum and a favorite among the residents of Perm.

The geological section of the exhibition showcases various minerals and rocks, including the Okhansky meteorite. In the interactive zone, visitors can try their hand at being paleontologists, conducting excavations and uncovering the skeletons of Permian reptiles beneath layers of sand.

The museum also offers an exhibition titled "The Trogontherium Elephant," dedicated to the expedition to the site of the Trogontherium elephant discovery in the Perm region. Guided tours, workshops, and popular science lectures are held here. Additionally, the museum annually organizes the only Children's Paleontological Conference in Russia.
