The Panorama Museum 'Borodino Battle' invites visitors to learn about the history of the Patriotic War of 1812. The main exhibit is the artistic panorama 'Borodino', one of the largest paintings in the world, measuring 115 meters in length and 15 meters in height. It was created by the outstanding Russian battle painter Franz Roubaud in 1912, in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Borodino. Thanks to the three-dimensional layout with terrain relief, special lighting, and the circular arrangement of the canvas, viewers can experience the illusion of being present in the real natural space and events of the war. The panorama depicts a key moment of the battle between the Russian and French armies near the village of Borodino on September 7, 1812.

In addition to the 'Borodino' panorama, the museum features a rich collection of artifacts from the 1812 era. Here, one can see battle paintings, decorative applied arts, weapons, uniforms, and equipment, as well as items of military life from both the Russian and French armies.

The Panorama Museum 'Borodino Battle', along with the exhibition 'Kutuzov's Hut', which recreates the setting of the Military Council in Fil'yah on September 13, 1812, are central objects of the historical and memorial complex of the Patriotic War of 1812 on Kutuzovsky Avenue.
