On July 11, 2009, a museum and exhibition complex of the Arzamas district was opened in Vyyezdnoye, based on the crafts center. It is located in an ancient stone building from the 19th century, previously owned by the noble family of Saltykovs.

In the crafts hall, visitors can learn about the history and current state of Arzamas crafts and trades. The exhibition includes items of women's handicrafts: famous gold embroidery, patchwork products, and handwoven rugs. Samples of the local residents' folk costumes are also presented.

The "Onion Hut" is dedicated to the onion, the symbol of the Arzamas district. Here, the history of its cultivation is told, and the interior of a villager's home, where onions were grown, is recreated.

In the hall of the home front, in addition to artifacts from battlefields brought by the search group, front-line letters are displayed. These yellowed triangles were donated to the museum by the Shabunin family.

In the hall of heroes of the Great Patriotic War, one can learn about 11 natives of the area who were awarded the Gold Star and the title of Hero of the Soviet Union. Part of the exhibition is dedicated to partisans. The memory wall features hundreds of photographs of participants in World War II.

The "Arzamas Pottery" hall tells the history of the pottery craft in the Arzamas district, including toy making. Vinyayev masters sculpted whistles from clay, while Kazak vessels were known in the southern Nizhny Novgorod province.

In the hall of the shrines of the Arzamas region, exhibits reflecting the influence of the Russian Orthodox Church on the lives and fates of peasants are collected.

The museum and exhibition complex hosts excursions and master classes, where one can learn to make a washcloth doll, a talisman, a souvenir felt boot, and a clay toy. There is a program called "Samovar and Felt Boots, Russian Fun," a folklore festival with folk games and tea drinking from a samovar. Souvenirs are also available for purchase.
