The Stone World Museum is a geological and mineralogical exhibition that has gathered exhibits from around the world. It was founded in 2010 based on the private collection of Sergey Iosifovich Berger. The museum's exhibition focuses on the history of stone carving in Altai, as well as local rocks and minerals. The collection includes displays of precious and decorative stones, paleontological exhibits up to two billion years old, and fossilized plants. The museum also features works by contemporary Altai craftsmen made from decorative stones. In total, the museum has over two thousand exhibits. The Stone World offers guided tours where guides share amazing facts about stones and minerals. Some exhibits can be touched, photographed, and even smelled.

The museum hosts a children's club called "Young Geologist," where lectures and workshops for children are conducted. Participants study the origins of minerals and rocks, their chemical and physical properties. Children take part in expeditions, scientific research, olympiads, and competitions. Classes are free, and groups are divided by knowledge level. The founder of the museum works with the younger group, while the older group is supervised by a scientific consultant. The museum also conducts outreach lessons in schools and kindergartens.

Unique souvenirs and handmade jewelry by Altai masters, who turn stone into works of art, can be purchased at the museum. Custom-made products from natural stone can also be ordered. Educational games and geological-themed reference books are available for sale, helping children reinforce their knowledge and feel like geologists and archaeologists.

The museum engages in mineralogical tourism, organizing geological excursions and tours in Barnaul and the Altai region from May to September. The excursions include visits to a former silver smelting plant, stone extraction and processing sites, the Kolyvan stone-cutting plant, museums, and operating enterprises.

The museum offers routes such as "Altai Ore and Stone Cutting," "Silver Key to Altai," the tour "Following Demidov's Footsteps," and a visit to the Suzun Mint. The route "Land of the Blue Mountain and White Lake" introduces visitors to Mount Sinyukha and the Mokhovo and Beloe Lakes. The excursion "Altai-Coke 1100° C" showcases the operations of a large coking chemical enterprise. In the tour "Cradle of Humanity," visitors can explore Denisova Cave, known as the "cradle of humanity," where the Karama site with over 80,000 artifacts was found. Participants also learn about the lifestyle and traditions of Old Believers.
