Visiting the museum will be interesting for both children and adults, making it a popular place for family recreation. Guests can explore the museum's exhibition independently. Although the area is small, it features many interesting exhibits related to the history of gingerbread, and the collection is periodically updated. Among the exhibits, one can see copies of famous gingerbreads and items created based on descriptions from literary works and cookbooks. Some exhibits are donated to the museum by gingerbread factories, while others come from private donors. All of them are connected to the history of gingerbread making in our country, telling about types of treats, ingredients, features of their production, successes of various manufacturers, and cultural traditions. The exhibits are accompanied by descriptions, but for a deeper understanding, it is worth attending a guided tour. During the tour, museum staff provide detailed information about the museum's theme, supplementing the narrative with interesting facts and folklore motifs. There is also an interactive part where visitors can learn the technology of making treats, knead dough, and print gingerbread using a special mold. The tour may include a tea party with tasting various types of gingerbread, as well as a master class on gingerbread painting. The staff has developed several creative master class options of varying difficulty, and in the end, participants take home fragrant, tasty, and beautifully decorated gingerbreads. For the youngest visitors, starting from 5 years old, there is a painting activity for three figurine-shaped gingerbreads, where children learn contour painting. Children from 8 years old can attend a more complex master class, where they are taught brush painting using icing in four colors. Participants decorate large gingerbreads with a raised design, adding their own details and inscriptions. Gingerbreads with fruit puree filling are available. Children from 10 years old can learn lace painting on a gingerbread heart with cocoa. This master class is especially popular before Valentine's Day, as few would refuse such a delicious handmade valentine. Children and adults can have an engaging time decorating gingerbread with sugar icing. The central figure in the design is a bullfinch, and participants will be taught the intricacies of painting, given freedom in choosing additional details. Another master class introduces the basics of monochrome brush painting. Additionally, various engaging programs have been developed for schoolchildren.
