The Prioksky District Museum was founded in 1985 and opened in honor of the district's 50th anniversary. Its creation involved industrial enterprises, the veterans' council, schools from the surrounding areas, and local residents who donated exhibits. The grand opening took place on November 4, 1987. The museum's exhibits reflect various stages of life in the district and the city, both in wartime and peacetime.
One of the exhibition halls is dedicated to major enterprises of the Prioksky District. Here, you can see unique exhibits and technical devices that were produced in the factories at different times, such as televisions, radios, record players, and telephone stations.
In 2017, the museum became part of the Prioksky District library system.
The exhibition hall hosts temporary exhibitions, as well as musical and literary concerts and creative evenings.
