In 1972, a collective farm museum was opened, which became the only rural museum in the region to be awarded the title of "People's" and has confirmed it twice. The main areas of the museum's work include patriotic education for youth and environmental education.

The museum's collections contain 10,231 items, including exhibits of peasant life and archaeological finds from the Krovorsk settlement, one of the ancient Russian settlements of the 12th-16th centuries in the Vyatka region. The main part of the exhibition is dedicated to the history of peasantry in the Kotel'nich district, illustrating the life of peasants in the Vyatka village, the history of advanced farms in the region, and their leaders. Special attention is drawn to the collections of wedding handwoven towels and artistic miniatures from the Korets family, laureates of Russian exhibitions "Embroidered Picture."

The museum features works by renowned graphic artists, such as the People's Artist of the Russian Federation Arkady Kolchanov and the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Anatoly Nagovitsyn, as well as photographs by Anatoly Skurikhin and Nikolai Shilov. The exhibition includes materials about outstanding natives of the Kotel'nich land, such as the People's Artist of the USSR A. V. Prokoshina, the first honorary citizen of the Kirov region and twice Hero of Socialist Labor A. D. Chervyakov, the chairman of the collective farm "Path of Lenin," and the initiator of the museum's opening, the chairman of the collective farm "Spark" A. M. Ronzhin.

The museum's task is to preserve the image of the working person from different eras.
