A new private museum has opened in Yaroslavl, named after Vadim Yurievich Orlov, a patron and honorary citizen of the city, who was also the chairman of the board of directors of the "Yaroslavl Technical Carbon" plant. The museum's collection is based on Orlov's assemblages, which include Russian and foreign porcelain from the 18th and 20th centuries, cast iron, silver, and household items. Particularly valuable are porcelain products from private Russian factories such as Gardner, Kuznetsov, Popov, and Miklashevsky.

The building of the House of the Society of Physicians is also of interest, as it is a federal architectural monument. It was restored with private funds in 2014 and 2018. The exterior of the building resembles the first third of the 19th century, but its history dates back to the 17th century, from which a cellar with storage chambers has been preserved.

The museum's exhibitions are located on three levels: the main floor, the mezzanine, and the cellar. The building is equipped with modern amenities, including a glassed-in patio with a cloakroom and restrooms, an elevator, a ticket office with a shop, a guest hall with a coffee area, and a children's corner.
