The A. M. Koshurnikov Museum is part of the municipal budget institution "Kuraginsky District Local History Museum." It is located in a three-story school building constructed in 1964 by the builders of the Abakan-Tayshet railway. The museum's collection includes over 5,500 items, of which more than 3,000 are on display.

The core of the exhibition consists of documents and photographs related to the builders and stages of the railway's construction, the modern development of the railway network, as well as archives of pioneer families such as A. M. Koshurnikov, K. A. Stofato, and A. D. Zhuravlev. The museum features paintings and sketches by Novosibirsk artist Frolov, household items of the builders and residents of Koshurnikovo, as well as items from the early 20th century and a collection of rocks and minerals.

The museum organizes a traveling exhibition "The History of the Construction and Surveys of the Abakan-Tayshet Railway in Photodocuments," showcasing photographic materials from 1910 and 1964 that tell the stories of the railway surveyors.

Based on the museum's archival materials, schoolchildren and students from railway educational institutions carry out scientific and practical work. The museum conducts a local history elective that includes working with archives, collecting geological materials and herbariums, as well as an artistic design elective that teaches modeling. The museum is visited by more than 2,000 people annually.
