Фото 1
The Ivan Alekseevich Bunin Museum, part of the Voronezh Regional Literary Museum named after Ivan Savvich Nikitin, is located in the wing of a 19th-century city estate. It was in the house on this territory that the future Nobel Prize laureate in literature, Ivan Alekseevich Bunin, was born on October 22, 1870.

The museum's exhibition is dedicated to the writer's creative path, his biography, and the main themes of his works. Two halls invite visitors to get acquainted with Bunin's images of the Motherland, such as "Russia as Home" and "Russia Distant and Close." Here, authentic household items of Bunin and his surroundings are displayed, including personal belongings and paintings by artists Yevgeny Ivanovich Bukovetsky and Pyotr Alexandrovich Nilus, with whom the writer maintained friendship throughout his life. Among the exhibits are also originals of letters and photographs, as well as rare editions of Bunin's books.

An open exhibition area has been created in the museum's courtyard featuring installations of authorial art objects dedicated to the themes of Bunin's creativity.
