The "Gorodets Gingerbread" Museum invites you to dive into the secrets of creating one of the most beloved treats in Russia. Here you can learn about the history of this unique sweet craft. The gingerbread boards used for making gingerbread are not just utilitarian items, but true works of art. They amaze with their variety of sizes and decorative elements.

In the museum, you can see medicinal and love gingerbreads, wish gingerbreads, as well as giant gingerbreads weighing up to 25 kg. The gingerbreads depict the paradise birds Sirin and Alkonost with human heads and hands, symbolizing joy and sorrow. All of this is part of the mysterious history of a small provincial town.

One of the exhibits is a unique carved cabinet, adorned with scenes from the Bible and the Apocalypse, as well as historical scenes and hunting scenes, standing on "wolf's paws."
