The Central Siberia Geology Museum is an institution under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Founded in 1960 as part of the Krasnoyarsk Geological Administration, it has operated as an independent regional institution since 1999. Its collection includes over 9,000 exhibits from around the world, including mineralogical, paleontological, and petrographic samples, as well as a library of specialized literature covering the period from the 19th century to the present day.

Currently, the museum implements various projects at educational, cultural, and entertainment venues in the region. Modern installations, quests, and workshops make geology more accessible and interesting. The museum actively participates in interregional and international cooperation, exchanging exhibitions and conducting specialist consultations. Special attention is given to educational and outreach activities: the Young Geologist School operates at the museum, and since 2014, an adult 'Geos-class' has been available.

From May to October, the museum organizes research geological routes to the Kacha River valley and to an ancient extinct volcano. Unique handmade stone souvenirs can also be purchased at the museum, or original gifts can be ordered.
