The Kyiv Pharmacy Museum, dedicated to pharmacy, is located in a historic 18th-century building. It was the first pharmacy in the city, opened by a German named Johann Geiter, who was specially invited to Russia to develop the pharmacy business. Later, the pharmacy passed to his Russified heirs.

Here, various ointments, mixtures, pills, and other means for the treatment and prevention of diseases were sold. The assortment included 1000 items. According to pre-revolutionary advertisements, the preparations were made from natural components. Local pharmacists used minerals, herbs, and animal organs, including insects.

The pricing policy was original: goods were divided into categories for poor and wealthy clients. The less fortunate could purchase cheap medicines made from simple and accessible components, while affluent buyers received expensive preparations made from more valuable ingredients.

Today, the building houses an interactive museum. Visitors can see antique jars, bottles, tools, preserved snakes, powders, and packaging from tablets, as well as participate in a workshop on preparing a simple remedy.

In the basement of the pharmacy, there are a mysterious alchemist's room, a monk-herbalist's cell, and a healer's hut, creating an atmosphere of magical antiquity. An unusual cash register with original mechanisms, which protected money from robbers and allowed the owner to control the daily income of sellers, has also been preserved here. The museum offers tourists many other interesting exhibits.
