In the homeland of Alexander Nevsky, a museum named in his honor was opened in 2012. In a relatively short time, it has attracted many tourists from both Russia and other countries. The museum draws visitors with its originality and uniqueness. The future prince and military leader was born in 1220 or 1221 and died in 1263.

Alexander Nevsky achieved his main military victories in his youth. He was about 20 years old during the Battle of Neva in 1240 and 22 during the Battle on Ice. Today, the Orders of Alexander Nevsky are awarded to individuals who have shown courage and bravery. The order features actor Nikolai Cherkasov, as no authentic images of the prince have survived. Cherkasov played Alexander Nevsky in the film of the same name.

Alexander Nevsky was canonized by the Russian Orthodox Church among the righteous at the Moscow Council of 1547 under Metropolitan Macarius.
