The monument 'Eternal Memory to the Warriors of Yugra' in Khanty-Mansiysk represents a guardian angel in a female form. The angel holds an injured soldier on one wing while using the other to protect fighters from death. The sculpture weighs about a ton and stands approximately three meters tall. It was cast in Yekaterinburg.

The composition is adorned with three arches, and the names of 158 warriors called to serve in Yugra and who perished are engraved on the side columns. The monument was ceremonially opened on Defender of the Fatherland Day. It was unveiled by V. Buzina, the mother of Hero of Russia Alexander Buzin, who died in Chechnya in 1996. The creation of the composition cost 7 million rubles.

In November 2012, the monument 'Eternal Memory to the Warriors of Yugra' was recognized as the best in the 'Visual Arts' category at the annual competition held by the FSB of Russia for works of literature and art.
