The monument 'Motherland of the Russian Fleet' in Ramon is dedicated to the shipyards of the Peter I era, which were located in the territory of the modern Ramon district. The monument was erected in 1996 in honor of the anniversary of the Russian fleet. It represents a white sailing ship set on a pedestal.

The monument is located at the site of a former fountain in the center of the square on Central Square. On the pedestal, inscriptions are carved on four sides: '1996, 300 years of the Russian fleet', 'Shipyard in Stupino village, 17th century', 'Shipyard in Ramon settlement, 17th century', and 'Voronezh River, the birthplace of the Russian fleet'.

The Ramon shipyard was founded by decree of Peter I in 1696 on the left bank of the Voronezh River, in the village of Ramon, which is located 37 km north of Voronezh.
