Viktor Petrovich Galfter, born on October 20, 1868, and died on March 16, 1951, was a Russian military officer. He participated in the Russo-Japanese War and distinguished himself in World War I. For his merits, he was awarded numerous orders, receiving the rank of major general in 1915 and lieutenant general in 1917. During the Civil War in the territory of modern Ukraine, he also took part, after which he emigrated to Great Britain. There, he led the Union of Former Russian Military Personnel, the Union of Russian Invalids, and the Association of the Moscow Life Guards Regiment, which he commanded. His burial site is inaccurately marked on the map.
