The tomb of St. Amphilochius is located in the monastery cemetery of the Pochaev Lavra. Amphilochius of Pochaev, known in the world as Yakov Varnavovich Golovatyuk, was born on November 27, 1894, in the village of Malaya Ilovitsa, which is now in the Shumsk district of Ternopil Oblast, Ukraine. He passed away on January 1, 1971, in the same district. Amphilochius was an Orthodox monk and clergyman of the Russian Orthodox Church, serving at the Pochaev Lavra.
