At Anfield cemetery in Liverpool, 445 soldiers and officers of the British Army who fell on the fronts of World War I are buried, along with 459 servicemen who died during World War II. Two of them remain unidentified. Additionally, 67 servicemen from other countries are laid to rest here, predominantly Danish and Norwegian sailors. In section number 20 of Anfield cemetery lies the grave of Soviet serviceman Nikolai Kuzik, who was buried in November 1944.
