Mikhail Fyodorovich Likiardopulo, born Popandopulo, was born on March 9, 1883, in Naples and died on November 17, 1925, in Brighton. He was a Russian journalist and translator of Greek descent. He worked as a secretary for the Moscow Art Theatre and as a correspondent for several newspapers. As an influential member of the Symbolist circle, Likiardopulo actively promoted and translated the works of Oscar Wilde in Russia. In addition, he translated works by Jack London, Herbert Wells, and other authors.

During World War I, Mikhail worked for Russian intelligence in Germany, posing as a Greek merchant, and later served in the Greek diplomatic mission in Stockholm. He was a friend of Robert Bruce Lockhart. After being exiled from Russia, Likiardopulo moved to the United Kingdom, where he continued his work in the media. He was buried in a cemetery in Brighton and Preston, plot I337.
