Ludwig (Louis) August Bernhard von Kerber (1863-1919) was a Russian vice-admiral. From 1883 to 1886, he participated in a round-the-world voyage on the ship "Vityaz," and in 1897, he attended the celebration of Queen Victoria's 60th anniversary. Kerber took part in the Russo-Japanese War and served as a naval agent in the United Kingdom from 1909 to 1911. He distinguished himself in the Baltic campaign of 1914-1915. In 1916, Kerber became the first commander of the Northern Arctic Ocean flotilla, which later evolved into the Northern Fleet of Russia. After the February Revolution of 1917, he was sent to the United Kingdom, where he was awarded the title of Commander of the Order of the Bath (KCB). Kerber passed away during kidney surgery. His grave is located at plot 46437, sector 16, row 5.
