Lydia Fyodorovna Krasnova, born Baroness von Gruyneisen, was born on April 24, 1870, and passed away on July 23, 1949. She was an opera singer with a mezzo-soprano voice and performed at the Bolshoi Theatre in 1890 and 1892 under the pseudonym Aleksandrova. Lydia became the wife of Russian general and ataman Pyotr Nikolaevich Krasnov, marrying him on June 30, 1896.

After emigrating, she lived in France for a time, and then moved to Germany with her husband. Lydia actively participated in cultural life, performing at evenings and concerts. In 1928, she was part of a vocal quartet at the ball of the Union of Russian Writers and Journalists.

After World War II, Lydia lived in Munich and then moved to a nursing home in Mittenwald. She died on July 23, 1949, in Walchensee, near Munich.

On April 24, 2010, a memorial plaque was installed at her burial site, dedicated to Lydia Fyodorovna Krasnova, wife of ataman Pyotr Nikolaevich Krasnov. On June 11, 2020, Archpriest Georg Kobro of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia conducted a memorial service.
